Easy Halloween Costumes That Are Work Appropriate

Dressing up for Halloween is always fun, especially if you get to wear your costume to work. But, even if you do wear your costume to work, you still need to make sure it's appropriate. Halloween is on Thursday and if you’re still trying to figure out what costume to wear, I got you covered. Here are 10 easy Halloween costume ideas that are fun and work appropriate.

1. Witch
Double, double toil, and trouble! A witch is a classic Halloween costume. You’ll need a black gown, black, orange, or green stockings (or striped colored stockings), some jewelry, a simple broom, and of course a witch hat.

2. Vampire
Work can sometimes suck, so a vampire costume is an easy, favorite Halloween costume. All you really need are vampire fangs and fake blood. You can dress up all in black with a cape or in plain clothes. Add the fake blood on the tip of the fangs and around the corner of your mouth.

3. Where’s Waldo
This classic puzzle book character always makes the perfect office Halloween costume. All you need are glasses, a red and white striped shirt, a red and white beanie with a red puff ball on the top, and blue jeans.

4. Pirate
Arrr Matey! You can become a pirate this Halloween by getting an eye patch, black pants with black boots, a fake sword, a shirt with a skull on it or a striped black and white top, and a pirate hat. If you can’t find a pirate hat, you can always tie a red bandana on your head.

5. Ghost
Boo! Scare your coworkers by becoming a ghost. All you really need is a white bed sheet and a sharpie. Draw two large holes for eyes and cut tiny holes inside them, just so you can see where you’re going.

6. Skeleton
It ain’t nothing but a bag of bones. There are a ton of skeleton one piece tops that you can order on Amazon, as well as at your local Halloween shop. You can do the classic skeleton face, which is black and white face paint or you can add some color and creativity. If you’re not into face painting, you can always purchase facial adhesives and temporary tattoos.

7. Scarecrow
Time to scare off the crows! You can either buy a scarecrow costume at your local halloween store or you can create one yourself! Wear some overalls and different patches to it, as well as obtaining a flannel. 8. Superhero
To the rescue! Become your customer’s favorite superhero this Halloween by dressing up in its full costume or buying a shirt with your favorite superheroes logo. Some popular superhero costumes would be Poison Ivy, Wonder Woman, Spiderman, The Flash, Captain America, Black Panther, Superman, Cat Woman, Batman, etc.

9. Football Player
Hut! Hut! Hike! The most easiest costume of all, you can become a football player. All you need is a jersey and black face paint, so you can draw one thick line on both of your cheeks.

10. A Minion
Becoming a minion is a classic costume from the movie Despicable Me. Not only is it recognizable, but it’s so easy to put together. You can either buy the costume or create a DIY minion yourself. You’ll need blue overalls, a yellow long sleeve shirt, black gloves, and goggles.
